Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will join a demanding organization operating in high-technology sectors (space and nuclear). Your main role will consist of ensuring the achievement of quality objectives (scrap rate, PPM) and driving continuous improvement through a strong problem-solving culture.
Your main missions:
Steering and structuring non-conformity (NC) management
- In-depth processing: Identification of root causes, definition of action plans, monitoring of their implementation, measurement of their effectiveness, and effective closure of problems.
- Internal NC management: Use of non-conformity reports according to their criticality (minor, major, system impact). Structuring the analysis process, defining responsibilities, and facilitating working groups.
- Customer reactivity: Communication on safety issues within 48 hours and implementation of an action plan within 5 days.
- Sustainable improvement: Analysis of recurring causes, reduction of processing times, and implementation of a roadmap to decrease the stock of open non-conformities.
Space & Nuclear Quality & FAI Referent
- Customer interface: Management of external audits, customer relations on product quality subjects, and mastery of a good level of English.
- First Article Inspections (FAI): Freezing and documenting all characteristics of a part during its first manufacture. Securing process evolutions, supplier changes, and the integration of new partners in connection with Purchasing and Industrialization.
- Internal audits: Conducting production and product audits, defining corrective action plans, and ensuring their follow-up.
- Transversal work and securing the quality system
- Close collaboration: Regular interactions with Design Offices, Methods, Industrialization, Production, and Purchasing, with the absolute priority of customer satisfaction and security.
- System integrity: Management of authorizations, verification of training, updating the ERP, and global consistency between the quality system and IT data.
- Internal training: Facilitating quality training sessions and problem-solving methods for the teams.
Education & Experience:
- Master's or Engineering degree, ideally specialized in materials.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience acquired within a Methods or Quality department in an industrial context.
- Good knowledge of requirements and standards in the aerospace or nuclear sectors is a clear advantage.
Technical skills:
- Proven mastery of problem-solving methodologies (5 Why, 8D, Ishikawa, 5M, etc.) to conduct root cause analyses and structure the quality approach.
- Ability to manage tool configuration and ensure data consistency in the ERP.
- Professional level of English.
