Continuous Improvement Engineer (M/F)

Since 1928, Senior Aerospace Calorstat has designed, manufactured, and developed custom systems built around precision metal bellows. The company, a human-sized enterprise (approximately 95 employees), is part of the English group Senior Plc, composed of 26 entities in 12 countries worldwide. Today, we work primarily with the aeronautics sector but also for other high-tech industries. For example, our parts fly in Airbus aircraft, take off with the Ariane rocket, and are integrated into future hydrogen aircraft prototypes.

As part of our growth, we are looking for a Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer (M/F) for our Dourdan site.

POSITION & MISSIONS

Reporting to the Operations Director, your main missions will be:

Drive the deployment of Continuous Improvement methods and tools:

• Establish and drive the Continuous Improvement deployment roadmap for the site.
• Lead and coach 5S, SMED, VSM, flow, projects.
• Train all employees on the tools.
• Manage continuous improvement indicators and guarantee the achievement of objectives.

Provide daily support to operations (Methods, logistics, production, maintenance) with a permanent focus on improving customer service and optimizing performance:

• Support the company's 0 Accident Safety approach.
• Drive the deployment of a standards culture: creation, training, audits.
• Determine, propose, and implement organizational, method, and process improvements.
• Participate in the improvement of workstations and manufacturing means, tooling, etc.

Develop visual management for activities and workshop flows.

PROFILE

• Experienced technician or engineer with several years of experience, 5 years mandatory.
• Experience in an industrial environment, ideally in the automotive or aeronautics sector.
• You have already participated in the deployment of LEAN approaches: 5S, SMED, VSM...
• You are familiar with problem-solving methods: PDCA, 5 Why, Ishikawa, .
• Result orientation: being in an improvement dynamic with systematic measurement of results and corrective actions.
• Pragmatism and analysis: knowing how to identify opportunities, high-potential projects, and taking all elements into account to guarantee the most optimal result.
• Ability to unite: gaining team buy-in for various approaches.

Your additional assets:

• English
• Experience in metallurgy on technical products in small series.

Professional practice of English is indispensable.
