Since 1928, Senior Aerospace Calorstat has designed, manufactured, and developed custom systems based on precision metal bellows. The company, which is human-sized, is part of the English group Senior Plc, composed of 20 entities in 10 countries across the world.

Today, we work primarily with the aeronautical and space sectors.

As an example, our parts fly in Airbus aircraft, take off with the Ariane rocket, and are integrated into future hydrogen aircraft prototypes.

To support our growth objectives, we are currently looking for a Project and Series-Life Buyer (M/F).

POSITION AND MISSIONS

Reporting to the Purchasing/Procurement Manager, you will join a small, versatile team of 5 people. As a Project and Series-Life Buyer, you will play a key role in the success of our developments. Working in direct contact with the design office, the Methods & Industrialization department, production, and our external partners, you will be responsible for:

• Managing purchases related to new projects (prototype, industrialization, series production);
• Working with the internal technical team to challenge project issues/expectations in order to be relevant in your supplier sourcing;
• Creating tenders in alignment with the project's purchasing strategy;
• Identifying, selecting, and developing a panel of competitive and reliable suppliers;
• Negotiating and contracting the best conditions in terms of cost, quality, lead times, and innovation;
• Integrating purchasing conditions into our ERP (sylob);

Providing support to the various activities of the department to guarantee business continuity and departmental performance;

PROFILE

You hold a Master's degree (Bac+5) in industrial purchasing (or equivalent training) and have at least 3 years of experience in a similar position within the industrial sector. Equipped with a strong analytical mind, you know how to challenge technical projects and define the most suitable purchasing strategy. You also possess solid negotiation and contracting skills, allowing you to build win-win agreements with our suppliers. Your proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is indispensable.
