Who are we? A Franco-Spanish family business that has become, in 30 years, the French leader in the supply and installation of reinforcement for reinforced concrete. Our activity covers the entire reinforcement value chain and is organized into four main poles:

• An industrial pole with 4 production and assembly units for reinforcement
• A site operations pole that ensures the installation of reinforcement on site with nearly 700 workers
• A technical studies and BIM modeling pole
• A training pole with the creation of a center dedicated to the training of workers.

What are our projects?

Our portfolio mainly consists of large-scale projects with a strong orientation towards Public Works and Civil Engineering markets in France and Europe (United Kingdom, Sweden, .).

In the medium term, we will mobilize our resources to meet the challenge of the CONSTRUCTION OF THE EPR2 DE PENLY project, for which EDF has entrusted us with the supply and installation of all the reinforcement.

What role will be entrusted to you?

As a technical studies officer, you will join the technical studies and BIM modeling pole and strengthen the teams of the EPR2 Penly project.

YOUR MISSIONS

The Technical Studies Officer plays a primordial role in the reinforcement sequence: they are the guarantor of the constructive arrangements and preferences of the reinforcement manufacturer. They constantly keep in mind the real feasibility of the decisions made by the design offices and know how to assert their point of view. What they anticipate during the study phase has a real and serious impact on the execution phase.

Site preparation and continuous improvement

• Master the regulatory and normative framework applicable to the studies and implementation of reinforcement for reinforced concrete upon taking office
• Interpret the project specifications to determine the technical, financial, and regulatory stakes of the project
• Draft transverse procedures while ensuring their compliance with the project specifications and quality requirements
• Implement constructive arrangements during exchanges with the design office to facilitate the execution of the project's structures
• Lead and formalize feedback from experience with field teams to facilitate the identification of discrepancies and successes
• Analyze field feedback (REX) to propose feasible continuous improvement axes to the relevant department(s) (procedure update; training action; evolution of working methods; etc.)
• Propose and experiment with axes for improving working methods, based on the analysis of site situations (REX; field observations; etc.)
• Promote the implementation of a quality and safety approach with the QSE Direction to meet the expectations in this matter of the Group's General Management and the project client

Participation in the design of the structure

• Identify the construction mode(s) adapted to the structure according to the input data, and justify the choice in relation to technical, regulatory, and economic constraints
• Adapt decision-making according to the nature of the structure, its construction context, and the client's expectations
• Propose alternative solutions in the face of identified and documented risks
• Ensure the technical feasibility of the design choices for the structures and, when faced with an identified problem, provide precise and structured arguments
• Ensure compliance with the implementation of constructive arrangements
• Validate plans within the project deadlines and by providing a precise/illustrated argument

During the works

• Provide technical support to sites (compliance; regulation; etc.) by providing precise and reasoned answers
• Ensure the link with the design office for the validation of modifications and adaptations during the site works with a precise/illustrated argument
• Manage non-conformities received during the site works in order to provide curative, then preventive, solutions, to avoid any recurrence of discrepancies for the same reason

We will not look for experience in reinforcement on your CV. We know the specificities of our profession and have designed the appropriate path to transmit them to you.

We are looking for entry-level candidates (maximum 3 years of experience) with sufficient technical background (BAC+3 training, such as BUT Travaux Publics), endowed with analytical, critical thinking, writing, and rigor skills.
