Warehouse Manager / Stock Controller

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Stock Control

Develop and maintain robust stock control systems to ensure accurate inventory levels and proper documentation. Implement inventory optimization techniques (e.g., ABC analysis) to prevent stockouts and overstocking. Conduct regular cycle counts, physical reconciliations, and routine audits to eliminate discrepancies. Track and report on slow-moving, damaged, or obsolete inventory.

Warehouse Operations & Logistics

Manage all inbound, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch operations. Ensure warehouse layout and product storage are optimized for efficient space utilization and fast retrieval. Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, liaising with transport providers and suppliers to minimize costs and ensure timely delivery. Update and maintain Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and stock registers on a daily basis.

Team Leadership & Safety

Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve operational targets and productivity goals. Enforce strict health, safety, and security protocols across the facility. Maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in warehouse management, logistics, or inventory control. Education: Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Purchasing and Supply, or a closely related field. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and MS Office Suite. Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to solve problems quickly in a fast-paced environment.
