Procurement Officer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Officer to join our dynamic construction team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will manage the procurement process efficiently, ensuring timely acquisition of materials and services while maintaining high-quality standards and cost-effectiveness. Responsibilities: - Manage end-to-end procurement activities including sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing of construction materials and services. - Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, price, delivery time, and reliability. - Coordinate with project managers and engineers to understand procurement requirements and timelines. - Prepare and issue purchase orders and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. - Monitor inventory levels and arrange for timely replenishment to avoid project delays. - Maintain accurate procurement records and reports for auditing and tracking purposes. - Collaborate with finance to ensure timely invoice processing and payment to vendors. - Stay updated with market trends and new suppliers to optimize procurement strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. - Minimum of 3 years' experience in procurement within the construction industry. - Strong negotiation and supplier management skills. - Excellent organizational and communication abilities. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. - Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office applications. - Knowledge of local market conditions and regulations in the UAE. - Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus. - Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and ethical procurement practices.
