Logistics Chief

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Logistics Chief to oversee and manage all logistics operations within our construction projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient supply chain management, timely delivery of materials, and effective coordination between various teams to support successful project completion.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency.
• Coordinate the procurement, storage, and distribution of construction materials and equipment.
• Manage transportation schedules and ensure timely delivery to project sites.
• Supervise logistics personnel and provide leadership and training as necessary.
• Collaborate with project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors to resolve any logistical issues.
• Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits to prevent shortages or surpluses.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within logistics operations.
• Prepare and manage logistics budgets and reports to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in logistics management within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management, procurement processes, and transportation logistics.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in logistics software and MS Office applications.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of UAE regulations and standards related to construction and logistics is an advantage.
