Customs Transit Coordinator (M/F)

Job Description:

You organize and manage the transport of sensitive and strategic flows. Plan and coordinate the transport (air, road, sea) of production parts and commercial prototypes, both in France and internationally. Select carriers and service providers adapted to each type of flow (urgency, fragility, value, regulatory sensitivity). Monitor the execution of transport from end to end and anticipate contingencies (delays, breaks in transit, calendar constraints related to test campaigns or trade shows). Act as the primary contact for the Certification, Design Office, and Sales teams to define transport needs upstream.

You manage import/export customs formalities. Compile and verify customs files (declarations, tariff classification, customs values, accompanying documents) for all flows, including special regimes (temporary admission, ATA Carnet for commercial prototypes and certification equipment). Ensure the regulatory compliance of shipments with respect to French, European, and destination country regulations. Act as the contact person for freight forwarders, customs brokers, and administrations (French and foreign customs). You make transport & customs processes reliable and optimized. Participate in the structuring and continuous improvement of internal procedures for transport management and customs formalities. Ensure the budget monitoring of transport and customs services under your responsibility.

This position, based in AVRILLE, is available as a mission for a renewable duration of 3 months.

The gross annual remuneration is between 30 and 35K€, to be negotiated according to your experience.

Profile Description:

You have training in transport, logistics, or international trade and can demonstrate a first successful experience in a similar position, ideally in a demanding industrial environment.

You master the fundamentals of customs regulations (tariff classification, customs regimes, incoterms) and ideally have initial experience managing ATA Carnets or temporary admission regimes.

Rigorous and organized, you know how to manage several complex files in parallel, in a context of varied flows and sometimes tight deadlines. Your interpersonal skills allow you to be an effective contact both internally and with freight forwarders and customs administrations. Proficiency in English is indispensable to operate in this international environment.
