📜 Responsibilities: a) Lead industrial automation and electrical projects, performing the following stages:

  • Definition and validation of technical scope;
  • Technical and economic feasibility assessment;
  • Sizing and specification of systems, materials, and resources;
  • Planning, execution, and commissioning;
  • Interface with involved areas and stakeholder management;

b) Act as a technical reference for the area, supporting strategic decisions related to automation, electrical, and instrumentation; c) Develop and implement industrial automation solutions, including system architecture, integration of PLCs, supervisory systems, industrial networks, and digital systems; d) Ensure asset reliability through the monitoring and leadership of corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance activities, based on technical analyses and performance indicators; e) Conduct failure analyses and propose corrective and preventive actions, ensuring the elimination of root causes; f) Technically manage electrical and automation assets and systems, such as drives, motors, sensors, MCCs, transformers, and control systems; g) Implement and sustain continuous improvements, using structured methodologies (A3, Lean, MASP, etc.), aiming for increased reliability, process optimization, and cost reduction; h) Develop and monitor performance indicators, as well as lead the implementation of action plans to address deviations; i) Develop and qualify suppliers, as well as interact with national and international suppliers for technical solutions; j) Prepare and review technical documents, work instructions, and engineering standards; k) Know and master the various automation equipment existing in the factory (Siemens, WEG, Schneider, Danfoss, Yokogawa, Rockwell, among others); l) Technically lead multidisciplinary teams and projects, promoting technical alignment and best practices; m) Provide technical training and capacitate operational and maintenance teams; n) Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards applicable to the activities; o) Act in Management of Change (MOC) related to automation and electrical systems.

Requirements and qualifications

Basic Education: Higher education in Automation Engineering or Electrical Engineering with a postgraduate degree in Automation. Professional Registration: Active CREA registration. Specific Knowledge: Solid knowledge in industrial automation systems, industrial networks, and asset maintenance. Required Experience: Solid performance in the Automation Engineering area, with experience in project leadership and working in an industrial environment. Languages: Intermediate to advanced English.
