Safety Health & Environment Manager (m/f/d), SEH Engineering GmbH (Occupational Safety Specialist)

For our company Stahlbau Engineering GmbH in the area of steel construction manufacturing with corrosion protection, we are looking for an experienced Safety Health & Environment Manager (m/f/d) at the earliest possible date.

Your Tasks

• Ensuring compliance with legal regulations as well as internal standards (including EMAS, ISO)
• Acting as an Occupational Safety Specialist (SiFa) according to § 6 ASiG and DGUV V2
• Monitoring the implementation of SHE measures and tracking action plans
• Risk assessment and definition of measures for sustainable risk minimization
• Planning, coordination, and execution of internal and external audits
• Training and raising awareness among employees in cooperation with environmental protection and quality
• Definition and implementation of corrective and preventive measures
• Creation of reports and decision-making bases for national and international management, site-specific SHE reporting, also at corporate level, and documentation (e.g., environmental reports, accident evaluations, and regulatory requirements)
• Advising and supporting managers and specialist departments in all SHE-relevant topics
• Raising awareness and further developing SHE and environmental consciousness of all employees
• Close cooperation with authorities, professional associations (Berufsgenossenschaften), company doctors, and the works council

Your Profile

• Technical degree with an SHE focus, e.g., engineering or mechanical engineering, or comparable training with relevant professional experience
• Completed training as an Occupational Safety Specialist (SiFa according to §7 ASiG)
• Additional qualification as an Environmental Officer (m/f/d) as well as relevant professional experience is an advantage
• Sound knowledge and practical experience in the establishment or maintenance of integrated management systems (including EMAS, ISO) is desired
• Experience in conducting audits is an advantage
• Very good knowledge of legal regulations in the SHE area
• Very good English skills, both written and spoken
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working
• Intercultural competence and teamwork skills
• Occasional willingness to travel
