The System & Software Quality Engineer ensures the quality assurance of system and software activities throughout the entire development cycle. They define and deploy quality assurance activities in the Quality Assurance Plan, in coordination with project, system, and software development leads, to guarantee compliance with applicable processes and standards.
Main responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Project, System, and Software development processes throughout the development cycle.
- Control the quality and compliance of deliverables produced by the development teams.
- Prepare and lead quality milestone reviews and contribute to client quality audits/reviews.
- Identify process deviations, define associated corrective actions, and monitor their progress until closure.
- Support teams in the application of applicable quality processes and requirements.
- Guarantee the consistency of development processes between different disciplines: Project Quality, Control-Command, Hardware, System, Software, etc.
- Ensure the alignment of the software development process with client process requirements.
- Contribute to the formalization, deployment, and maintenance of the Quality Assurance, System, and Software business framework.
- Contribute to compliance with APQP/PPAP, IATF 16949, Automotive SPICE (A-SPICE), ISO 26262, and ISO 21434 standards.
You hold a Master's degree (BAC+5) or an Engineering degree in system and software quality, and you have at least 5 years of experience in the same type of position.
Skills:
- Mastery of engineering development standards and frameworks: A-SPICE, ISO 26262, ISO 21434.
- Knowledge of automotive embedded system/software environments, System Engineering, and Model-Based Design.
- Mastery of problem-solving methods: 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, etc.
- Mastery or knowledge of tools: Reqtify, Git.
- Rigor, autonomy, analytical mindset, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work transversally with different disciplines and to support teams in the application of processes.
- Fluent professional English.
