Segula Technologies - IT Network Engineer (M/F)
Within the technical environments dedicated to development and validation activities, you will be responsible for the availability, security, and reliability of the infrastructures. You will also provide your technical expertise to the engineering teams on infrastructure, systems, networks, virtualization, and storage topics. Main missions:1. Deployment and maintenance of infrastructures
Install, configure, administer, and maintain physical servers and associated infrastructure components. Guarantee the availability, performance, and reliability of the environments. Ensure the monitoring of the infrastructure lifecycle: maintenance, updates, and evolutions. Diagnose and resolve incidents related to infrastructures.
- Virtualization & Storage Administration
Deploy, administer, and maintain Proxmox VE virtualization clusters. Administer Ceph distributed storage clusters. Ensure supervision, upgrades, troubleshooting, and capacity management. Optimize performance and contribute to the evolution of the platforms.
- Networks & Security
Install, configure, and maintain network equipment: switches, VLAN, routing, firewalls, and security equipment. Configure and maintain network security rules. Guarantee secure and high-performance connectivity between different environments. Supervise network performance and intervene on incidents and malfunctions.
- Infrastructure services & team support
Administer infrastructure services such as Active Directory, DNS, and authentication services. Provide technical support to Platform Engineers and Project Engineers on infrastructure, virtualization, storage, and networks topics. Write and maintain technical documentation. Participate in continuous improvement, standardization, and securing of environments.
An engineer by training in IT, systems, and networks or equivalent, you have significant experience in infrastructure and network administration, ideally in complex or industrial environments. You specifically master:
Linux / Windows Server environments. Virtualization technologies, ideally Proxmox VE. Distributed storage solutions, ideally Ceph. Network fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP. Network security technologies and firewall configuration. Active Directory and authentication services. Supervision, diagnostic, and incident resolution tools.
Experience with Kubernetes environments or cloud/containerized platforms is an asset. Fluent English is essential, both written and spoken.
