Customer Service and Logistics Executive - Freight Forwarder Monterrey

Your tasks

• Consult shipping line/consolidator portals, obtain Arrival Notice, and validate vessel, voyage, ETA/ATA, B/L, container, consignee, and free time.
• Submit Local Charges requests, follow up on payment, and send proofs for Revalidation.
• Confirm shipping line release and update payments, revalidation, and arrival in the system.
• Send arrival notices to the client and update progress on customs clearance, release, pickup, transport, and delivery.
• Daily control of free time to mitigate risks of Demurrage, Detention, and Storage.
• Coordination with customs clearance, transport, and client for appointments, deliveries, and POD.
• Administrative follow-up (empty return, EIR, CUT DEM, credits, and electronic file).

Requirements

• Education: Completed Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Logistics, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of practical and indispensable experience in a Freight Forwarder or Customs Agency (Maritime FCL/LCL, Air, and Land).
• Language: Technical / operational English (understanding and writing emails, accounts, and operational instructions in English).
• Residence: Desirable to live in the South zone of Monterrey / Carretera Nacional or with easy access to Villas La Rioja (C.P. 64988).
• Proficiency in Excel, email, shipping line portals, and Freight Forwarding systems.
