Cashier
Seed is a modern Indonesian restaurant perched on the cliffs of Bingin, Bukit Peninsula. Our bar program is an extension of our kitchen philosophy — ingredient-driven, rooted in local flavours, and crafted with intention. From house-infused spirits to fresh coconut-based cocktails, everything behind our bar is made with care. We are looking for a Junior Head Bartender to help lead and elevate our beverage experience. The Role Working closely alongside the Restaurant Manager and the floor team, you will be the first and last face our guests see. You will greet and seat guests, manage reservations and the flow of the dining room, answer questions about Seed and our menu, enter orders into the POS, issue bills and close the cash register at the end of service. - Manage the flow of the dining room: seating, waiting times and coordination with the floor team
- Give guests clear and accurate information about the menu, ingredients, opening hours and the restaurant
- Enter orders accurately into the POS and communicate clearly with the waiters
- Prepare and present bills and process payments (cash, card and digital)
- Carry out the end-of-day cash closing and report any discrepancy to the manager
- Handle guest requests and feedback with professionalism and care, escalating to the manager when needed
- Keep the entrance, host station and till area clean, tidy and welcoming
What We're Looking For
- 1 year of experience in a restaurant front-of-house, host or cashier role
- Strong communication skills and a warm, professional presence
- Calm under pressure with a solution-oriented mindset
- Comfortable using a POS system and handling cash, with accuracy and honesty
- Genuine passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction
- Attention to detail and a high standard of personal presentation
Basic knowledge of food and beverage
- English proficiency - essential, additional languages a plus
