Your tasks

As a patrolling security guard, your primary task is to deliver security out at our customers' locations – primarily at industries, offices, and workshops – by protecting property and buildings against fire, theft, and damage. Typically, it is you who manages the alarm systems and reports using a computerized patrol information system. The work is independent and often perceived as free, but with great responsibility.

Requirements

• Approved grades in Swedish from the first year of gymnasium
• Good knowledge of English
• B-driver's license

As a person, we believe you are service-oriented, calm, and organized, and can handle periodically high work paces. You are interested in technology and find it easy to understand instructions. For employment within Securitas Sverige AB, it is required that you have approved grades from the first year of gymnasium in Swedish and are approved by Länsstyrelsen for employment in an authorized security company according to Lag (1974:191) om bevakningsföretag (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, security clearance according to Säkerhetsskyddslag (2018:585) may also become relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to the respective legislation, a background check is conducted. The assessment concerns law-abidance, suitability, reliability, loyalty, as well as any vulnerabilities. Information obtained may, for example, come from yourself, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when testing suitability for the respective position.

The job suits you who likes to work with people and help them in their everyday lives. As a security guard at our office in Hudiksvall, you will become part of a tight-knit team of 25 people. The job concerns only night work, where shifts can be scheduled on both weekdays and weekends. It is therefore important that you have the possibility to work nights and are comfortable with the working hours the position entails. The shifts are often 12 hours long.

• The position is an on-demand employment with a start date by agreement. We apply a 6-month probationary period
• We work with selection tests

Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Säkerhetsföretagen and Svenska Transportarbetareförbundet.
