Site Security Manager

For one of our largest international clients, we are looking for a Site Security Manager. In this role, you combine operational responsibility with strategic insight. You are responsible for all physical security activities at datacenters in the Amsterdam area. You ensure that our services are executed effectively and efficiently and contribute to international implementations through digital training and support. In addition to managing the operation, you are also responsible for managing a team, maintaining client contacts, and making proposals and executing actions to continuously improve the service. You translate client guidelines into the operation, make recommendations for improvement, and monitor quality. Together with six fellow Site Security Managers, you lead more than 175 employees daily – a number that will grow significantly in the coming period. Additionally, you are operationally responsible for performance at the location(s) and ensure that instructions and procedures are followed. Key responsibilities:

• Maintenance and monitoring of Security Operation Center (SOC) systems.
• Management of access rights and schedules.

• Executing and conducting training sessions.
• Proactively making proposals to continuously improve security.

• Reporting (in English) to the client's management and to your Campus Security Manager.
• Leading the team and maintaining a strong relationship with the client.

• Executing actions and driving improvement initiatives to optimize the service.

You have a good command of the English language, both spoken and written HBO working and thinking level You possess a B driver's license Demonstrable knowledge of health & safety is a plus You have demonstrable experience in managing physical security (within an international environment) You derive energy from collaborating and know how to motivate and coach teams daily You are strong in coordinating multiple projects simultaneously and maintain oversight under pressure You preferably reside in the Amsterdam region Willingness to work periodic on-call shifts
