SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST
You will serve as a SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the NCIS. All Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) positions are in the excepted service. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.
Major duties
- You will act as the Supply and Services Program Manager and technical authority for the agency.
- You will oversee and manage the Supply and Services Programs for NCIS including the accountable property system of record, Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS).
- You will develop and maintain the NCIS Chapter policies and General Administration messages (GENADMINs) to set and communicate policy.
- You will serve as the sole Personal Property Manager (PPM) for the Director of NCIS and technical authority to establish accountability and management throughout the agency.
Qualifications
Must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: Understanding of federal supply laws, regulations, and DOW/DON property accountability directives to serve as the Personal Property Manager (PPM) for the Director of NCIS. Creating agency-wide policy recommendations and procedures. Ability to determine supply support requirements to meet agency logistic supply chain constraints worldwide. Administering and understanding the supply and service program regarding the ELMS, ServiceNow accountable property applications, Mailroom operations, Supply Issue Point Warehouse and TMO operations.
