Consultant Physiotherapist

Job summary

A leading healthcare organization in the UAE is seeking an experienced consultant physiotherapist to provide advanced assessment, rehabilitation and evidence-based physiotherapy care across complex musculoskeletal, neurological and rehabilitation cases.

Key duties

Assess and manage complex musculoskeletal, neurological and sports-related conditions.

Develop individualized rehabilitation and treatment plans.

Provide advanced manual therapy, exercise therapy and functional rehabilitation.

Manage post-operative and chronic rehabilitation cases.

Work closely with orthopaedics, neurology, rehabilitation medicine and other specialists.

Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly.

Support multidisciplinary case management and clinical decision-making.

Mentor junior physiotherapists and contribute to clinical education.

Participate in audits, quality improvement, research and evidence-based practice.

Requirements

Recognized degree in physiotherapy / physical therapy.

Advanced postgraduate qualification in physiotherapy, rehabilitation or a relevant specialty.

Consultant-level clinical experience in a hospital, rehabilitation centre or tertiary-care setting.

UK CCT, Western qualification, American Board, Australian Board, or South African Board preferred.

Strong experience managing complex rehabilitation cases.

Eligible for DHA/DoH/MOHAP licensing, subject to authority assessment.

Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
