Consultant Dietician Nutritionist

Job summary

A leading healthcare organization in the KSA is seeking an experienced consultant dietician/nutritionist to provide advanced clinical nutrition assessment, dietary management and evidence-based nutritional care for patients with complex medical conditions.

Key duties

Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized nutrition plans.

Manage patients with obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, gastrointestinal disorders and other nutrition-related conditions.

Provide medical nutrition therapy and monitor patient outcomes.

Support nutritional management of complex and chronic diseases.

Work closely with physicians and multidisciplinary clinical teams.

Provide patient and family education on nutrition and lifestyle modification.

Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, research and professional education.

Mentor junior dietitians/nutritionists and support development of clinical protocols.

Requirements

Recognized degree in dietetics, nutrition or clinical nutrition.

Relevant postgraduate qualification preferred.

Consultant/senior-level clinical experience in a hospital or tertiary-care setting.

UK CCT, Western qualification, American Board, Australian Board, or South African Board preferred where applicable to the candidate's professional pathway.

Strong experience in clinical nutrition and medical nutrition therapy.

Medical license to practice in KSA, subject to applicable professional requirements.

Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
