The Multiskilled Technician With HGV Role

You'll combine HGV Class 2 driving with practical site-based duties, working across a variety of environmental and industrial projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating HGV/Class 2 company vehicles and tankers
• High-pressure water jetting and spill clean-ups
• Groundworks, remedial works and tank uplifts
• Tank and interceptor installation, servicing and inspections
• Spill response and industrial cleaning
• Supporting emergency response operations
• Completing vehicle and Tacho checks
• Working away when required
• Undertaking training to National Grid and rail standards

Multiskilled Technician With HGV Essential Skills

• HGV Class 2 licence
• Experience within a hands-on, multi-skilled trade environment
• Understanding of RAMS documentation
• Knowledge of Tacho and vehicle checks, or willingness to undertake training
• Flexible approach towards overtime and call-outs
• Comfortable working away when required
• ADR would be beneficial but isn't essential
• Plant operation experience would be advantageous

This role could be particularly relevant to service leavers and veterans with transferable experience across transport, engineering, plant, logistics, field operations or other practical environments.
