Your tasks

Develop embedded software components focused on power and energy measurement. Collaborate with hardware and testing teams to transition R&D projects into production. Lead innovation, mentor engineers, and contribute to advancing sensor technologies.

• Develop embedded software components for sensor-based systems focused on power and energy measurement to deliver scalable production products
• Collaborate with hardware and testing teams to transition R&D projects into reliable, scalable production solutions
• Enhance and maintain existing embedded software to improve functionality and development workflows
• Propose and implement new software solutions to optimize development processes and product performance
• Research and apply the latest advancements in sensor technology, sensing and calibration algorithms, and industry trends to innovate product offerings
• Contribute to patent applications by documenting novel software and sensor technology developments
• Mentor junior engineers by providing technical guidance and supporting their professional growth
• Lead architectural design and technical roadmaps for high-impact R&D initiatives to drive product innovation and quality

Requirements

Required competencies and certifications

• Proficiency in C programming language for embedded software development
• Full lifecycle experience in specification, design, development, and testing of sensor-based embedded software
• Knowledge of signal processing, sensor technologies, and sensor calibration techniques
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Expertise in Python, C++, or MATLAB programming languages
• Working knowledge of industrial communication protocols
• Experience with wireless communication technologies and embedded cybersecurity
• Proven success in cross-functional collaboration with hardware R&D teams
