Rhythmic Gymnastics Coach - Up to $4500
Position: Rhythmic Gymnastics Coach Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Working Days: 6 days per week Rest Day: 1 weekday, determined by roster Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 2.30pm to 8.30pm Saturday & Sunday: 10.00am to 4.00pm Total: 42 hours per week
Salary (commensurate on experience) : $3,000 to $4,500 basic, depending on relevant experience Benefits: 14 Days Annual Leave + Variable Bonus Training Support: Sponsorship for coaching certification courses where required Main Responsibilities Plan and conduct structured rhythmic gymnastics training sessions based on the Academy's curriculum and coaching framework. Teach correct techniques for body elements, flexibility, coordination and apparatus handling. Coach gymnasts in the use of hoop, ball, clubs and ribbon . Develop and teach choreography, routines and performance sequences. Adapt coaching methods according to age group, ability and training level. Coach recreational, developmental and competitive gymnasts as assigned. Monitor individual progress and provide constructive technical feedback. Maintain a safe and supportive training environment. Promote discipline, confidence, teamwork and sportsmanship. Identify strengths and areas for improvement and communicate progress to the Head Coach, gymnasts and parents where required. Prepare gymnasts for assessments, demonstrations, performances and competitions. Support gymnasts during competitions, including warm-ups, floor supervision and athlete preparation. Apply relevant competition requirements, judging criteria and FIG Code of Points where applicable.
Requirements At least 1 to 2 years of relevant Rhythmic Gymnastics coaching experience . Good understanding of rhythmic gymnastics techniques and apparatus handling. Able to coach gymnasts across different age groups and skill levels. Experience preparing athletes for competitions or performances will be advantageous. Knowledge of the FIG Code of Points will be advantageous. Able to demonstrate techniques clearly and provide structured coaching feedback. Comfortable working a 6-day, 42-hour work week , including weekends. Able to work weekday afternoon/evening hours and weekend daytime hours.
