Language Teaching Lecturer

About the company

SEAMEO RELC is looking for a Language Teaching Lecturer. The successful applicant will teach English language courses for participants from the Southeast Asian region and other parts of Asia.

Your tasks

He/she will be expected to

• design and teach courses in General English and English for Specific Purposes to suit the needs of learners;
• develop English language teaching resources and instructional material for synchronous and asynchronous learning, including development of appropriate English language tests and assessment guidelines;
• assist in the coordination and conduct of administrative matters related to the training programmes;
• conduct language testing as an examiner or rater;
• deliver courses in Singapore, overseas and online.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics or TESOL; or
• Master’s degree in English Language or Education and a CELTA or Trinity CertTESOL or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of teaching experience with adult learners
