Operations Manager

Your tasks

The operations manager will oversee the end-to-end manufacturing and plant operations at our state-of-the-art facility in Jeddah. This role is vital for aligning daily factory operations with corporate business goals, optimizing resource utilization, and leading multi-cultural teams. The successful candidate will leverage strategic planning and factory automation to maximize efficiency, maintain peak safety and quality standards, and scale production capacity for our premium bedding lines.

• Strategic plant leadership: Oversee daily end-to-end mattress manufacturing workflows, including quilting, foam cutting, pocket spring core assembly, tape-edging, and final packaging.
• Workflow optimization: Design and implement process improvements to maximize the output of automated machinery while minimizing raw material waste.
• ERP data management: Direct the utilization of Odoo ERP (manufacturing and inventory modules) to log processes, trace materials, and track overall factory performance metrics.
• Cross-functional synchronization: Partner with procurement, plant maintenance, and logistics teams to balance supply chain requirements, mitigate material shortages, and schedule preventive equipment downtime.
• Financial & budgetary control: Manage plant operational budgets, conduct performance analyses, and drive cost-reduction strategies without compromising quality.
• Workforce management: Direct, mentor, and evaluate a multi-cultural workforce, fostering an environment of safety, professional development, and high productivity.

Requirements

• Education: Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or operations management. An MBA or master’s degree in a relevant business or management discipline is required.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in plant operations, production management, or industrial manufacturing.
• Industry background: Strong preference for experience within mattress manufacturing, bedding, foam, textile high-volume production, or closely related consumer goods industries.
• Technical skills: High proficiency with ERP infrastructure, specifically Odoo ERP software modules, alongside a strong data-analytical and engineering mindset.
• Language skills: Professional fluency in written and spoken English is strictly required. Conversational proficiency in Arabic is highly valued.
