Manufacturing Specialist III

The manufacturing team supports safe, stable, and efficientproduction at the Woodlands, Singapore, W1 facility, partnering withEngineering, Quality, Planning, and other support functions to achieve safety,quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
About the role - you will:
- Coordinate daily production activities across an assigned line, cell, or area with increasing independence by translating approved production plans into work assignments and operating priorities based on staffing, training status,material availability, process requirements, and escalation procedures.
- Coordinate manpower deployment, shift-start communication, handovers, follow-up actions,and task assignments within approved production plans, training authorizations,and staffing parameters.
- Verify team members are trained and authorized before assigning equipment, process, ormaterial-handling tasks, and coordinate equipment, material, documentation, and workstation readiness throughout the shift.
- Monitor safety, quality, output, workflow, material availability, and assigned operational indicators; support reporting, tracking, and escalation of key operational metrics and risks.
- Act as the first point of coordination for routine production, material, equipment, inventory, and quality issues by initiating approved containment actions, communicating risks, engaging Engineering, Quality, Planning, or other supportfunctions, and supporting investigations or structured problem-solving for recurring operating issues.
- Review production records, quality checks, and shift documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Coordinate area-level training and cross-training needs for new and existing team members through the approved training process.
- Coach MS I and MS II team members on standard work, safe practices, quality requirements, escalation expectations, and Work Instruction adherence, and follow up on identified readiness gaps through the approved training process.
- Lead or coordinate approved local continuous improvement actions and verify sustainment without formal managerial authority.
- Perform trained production support tasks when required, including equipment set-up,machine operation, labelling, packing, palletizing, and material handling.
- Support other related manufacturing activities within the assigned functional-leadscope.
About you:
- Good English understanding, including the ability to read, understand, and follow Work Instructions, production documentation, operating information, and related workplace communication.
- Demonstrates sound judgement, accountability, and consistent adherence to safety, quality,standard work, and escalation expectations.
- Able to coordinate people, workflow, priorities, shift communication, and operating information clearly within approved plans and without formal managerial authority.
- Able to balance production, equipment, material, quality, staffing, and workflow needs while identifying gaps, coordinating follow-up, and supporting objective, task-related feedback or coaching.
- Ableto collaborate effectively with production support functions and coordinate with cross-functional partners when required.
- Adaptable, willing to take on other ad-hoc duties as assigned, and able to meet validated physical requirements, including carrying work items up to 15 kg and standing or walking for extended hours.
Your experience includes:
- Hands-on experience across manufacturing, production, assembly, testing, inspection, packing, material-flow, equipment operation, standard work, production documentation, and material trace ability processes.
- Experience coordinating work assignments, shift activities, daily production priorities,manpower deployment, handovers, follow-up actions, or related operating priorities.
- Experience conducting on-the-job training, coaching team members, or verifying operational task readiness against approved training or authorization requirements.
- Experience supporting containment, structured problem-solving, investigations, recurring issue follow-up, or local continuous-improvement actions.
- Ability to interpret production plans, operating indicators, quality information, shift records, and related operating data to support coordination, documentation accuracy, and escalation.
Work arrangement: 3-2-2-3 rotating shift pattern, with day shift from 7:30 a.m. to 7:45 p.m. and night shift from 7:30 p.m. to 7:45 a.m.
