Student Engagement and Support Officer (Tampines)

📢 Student Engagement and Support Officer x1 💰 Salary: $3,200 – $3,500/month 📅 Contract Duration: 1 year 🗓️ Contract Period: January 2027 – December 2027 ⏰ Working Hours: Monday–Friday: 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Inclusive of a 1-hour lunch break.

Selected Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays may be required for school events.

🎓 Job Requirements Recognised diploma, degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline.

Experience in education, youth work, community or social services is advantageous.

Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

Able to engage youths effectively while maintaining professional boundaries.

Able to manage challenging situations calmly and exercise sound judgement.

Good documentation, reporting and confidentiality practices.

Mature, patient, resilient and adaptable.

Able to work collaboratively with students, parents and school personnel.

Able to comply with school policies, procedures and reporting protocols.

📋 Job Responsibilities Build positive relationships with students and provide guidance and follow-up support.

Assist with student conduct and behavioural management, including de-escalation, conflict resolution and restorative follow-up.

Supervise students, monitor behaviour and report safety or well-being concerns.

Coordinate student cases with school personnel, parents and relevant stakeholders.

Maintain accurate records of incidents, interventions and follow-up actions.

Monitor relevant youth, behavioural and online trends affecting student safety and well-being.

Perform other related duties as assigned by the school.
