Student Care Officer (Bedok Reservoir)

📢 Student Care Officer x1 💰 Salary: $2,800–$3,200/month 📅 Contract Duration: 9 months + 10 days 🗓️ Contract Period: January 2027 – October 2027 ⏰ Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–5:00pm, inclusive of 30-minute lunch break 📆 Working Days: Monday–Friday 🕐 Additional Hours: One day per week may extend to 5:30pm for after-school engagement activities 🌿 School Holiday Work: Selected working days may be required during the June school holidays 🚫 No Service: Weekends, gazetted public holidays, and November & December Working hours may vary according to operational requirements. 🎓 Job Requirements Relevant qualification or certification in Youth Work or related fields is preferred.

Minimum 1 year of experience working with youths in a school, social service or community setting.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Able to build rapport and trust with students.

Empathetic, resilient and able to work with students with diverse needs.

📋 Job Responsibilities Engage, befriend and mentor students with emotional, social or well-being needs.

Monitor and track the progress of identified students.

Plan and supervise activities at the Student Engagement Centre.

Support and facilitate after-school engagement programmes.

Liaise with parents/guardians regarding students' progress and participation.

Work with community partners to connect students with suitable programmes.

Maintain accurate records of student interactions, progress and incidents.

Follow safeguarding, emergency and confidentiality protocols.

Perform other student-related duties as assigned.
