📢 Science Laboratory Technician

Salary: $2,400/month Contract Duration: 1 year, subject to 1-year extension Contract Period: January 2027 – December 2027 Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00am–1:30pm; Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, inclusive of 30-minute lunch break ( 34.5 hours per week including lunch ). No service required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted Public Holidays.

📋 Job Responsibilities

• Support the daily operations of science laboratories and related outdoor learning areas.
• Set up, clean and maintain science laboratories and designated science areas.
• Maintain the cleanliness of recycling areas.
• Prepare laboratory apparatus, equipment and teaching materials for scheduled activities.
• Assist with stocktaking and maintenance of equipment.
• Type and prepare worksheets and notes.
• Support departmental events, activities and programmes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

🎓 Job Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Able to operate basic electronic devices and equipment used for science activities.
• Comfortable performing basic gardening tasks such as weeding, planting and watering.
• More than 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Experience working in a school environment is advantageous.
