Principal Finance Executive (Little India)

📢 Principal Finance Executive (Fixed Assets) x1 💰 Salary: $3,500/month 📅 Contract Duration: 1 year 🗓️ Contract Period: Immediate start, 1-year contract ⏰ Working Hours: Monday–Thursday: 8:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

🎓 Job Requirements Accountancy knowledge or an equivalent professional qualification.

At least 10 years of relevant finance or accounting experience, preferably in fixed assets accounting within a large organisation.

Good understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and internal controls.

Strong analytical, problem-solving and numerical skills.

Self-motivated, meticulous and able to work independently.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Knowledge of AI tools, SAP, data analytics, visualisation tools or robotic process automation (RPA) is an advantage.

📋 Job Responsibilities Manage fixed assets accounting, including capitalisation, transfers, disposals and reconciliations.

Support month-end and year-end closing, maintain accurate asset records and resolve audit queries.

Review assets-under-construction balances, validate asset costs and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and policies.

Work with project teams and stakeholders to resolve capitalisation issues and prepare financial reports.

Provide guidance on fixed assets accounting, asset classification and internal financial procedures.

Follow up on outstanding matters and identify opportunities to improve existing processes.
