About the company

To meet an increased development phase of our company, particularly in the defense sectors which represent significant stakes today, SEABER is looking as soon as possible for a Testing and After-Sales Technician to support the growth of our activity.

Your tasks

Reporting to the Industrial Manager, within an After-Sales team of three people, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Prepare and conduct AUV testing in the factory: functional checks, leak tests, verification of sensors and actuators, etc.
  • Prepare and conduct sea trials, in coordination with the production and After-Sales teams: planning, preparation of equipment and the vessel, launching, conduct of trials, recovery and data analysis.
  • Write test reports and report observed anomalies to the production, After-Sales, and design office teams.
  • Ensure After-Sales service for AUVs: receiving customer returns, fault diagnosis, repair, restoration to operational status, and validation tests.
  • Ensure the follow-up of interventions and traceability of repairs, and contribute to the continuous improvement of products based on field feedback.
  • Organize and manage the spare parts store: receiving, storage, inventories, monitoring stock levels, replenishment, and preparation of shipments.
  • Maintain testing equipment (test benches, boats, vehicles) and organize its maintenance: planning maintenance, monitoring regulatory inspections, and coordination with external service providers.

Requirements

Above all, you are organized, rigorous, autonomous, and motivated by SEABER's entrepreneurial project. You enjoy responsibility and want your work to have a real impact.

You have a technical education at the Bac+2/3 level (BTS, BUT or equivalent) in electronics, mechatronics, systems maintenance, or a related field. You can demonstrate experience in a position with similar responsibilities (testing, After-Sales, maintenance of electromechanical or embedded systems).

You have a methodical approach to diagnosis: you know how to read electronic and mechanical plans, use common measurement tools (multimeter, oscilloscope), and isolate the origin of a fault on a complex system. You are comfortable with IT tools and reading logs.

You are comfortable on the water and ready to participate in sea trial campaigns. A coastal license, a Capitaine 200, or a similar title is a plus.

Proficiency in technical English in writing is indispensable.

And above all, you love pink submarines!
