R&D Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct experiments and research to improve and innovate Ocean Farming mechanization activity.
• Make drawings, BOM, and other attachments related to the design.
• Procuring any materials and equipment required.
• Design, develop and manufacture physical prototypes for testing.
• Inspecting equipment and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions.
• Provide technical support and training on new equipment to coordinators and facilitators.
• Writing technical documentation of tests, protocols, SOP, and safety practices.
• Assist senior RnD engineer on completing the project
• Adhering to all safety and performance protocols.
• Traveling to site locations for project purposes, equipment installation and maintenance.

Requirements:

• Minimum D3 in mechanical engineering related field.
• Able to operate CAD applications (Solidwork is preferable) and standard microsoft office.
• Having an experience in prototyping a machine or automation project
• Willing to travel for working purposes
• Passionate in seaweed farming mechanization
• Able to write and speak in English is preferable

Location of work: Based in Makassar, South Sulawesi. Travel to Ocean Farming sites for work purposes.
