Your tasks as an IT Application Developer (m/f/d) in Kiel
- Together with your team, you will develop software solutions, work out architecture concepts, and commission the finished applications on real systems
- The focus of your work lies in the development of user interface applications as well as interfaces to automation and database systems
- You will create software specifications and implement them through programming, documentation, commissioning, and maintenance of the applications
- Quality assurance is also part of your area of responsibility – including through code reviews as well as unit and integration tests
- In interdisciplinary project teams, you will work closely with colleagues from mechanical engineering, process engineering, and IT on the development of new products
- Furthermore, you will actively contribute to the further development of our toolchain and working methods
Your profile as an IT Application Developer (m/f/d) in Kiel
- You have a completed degree in (technical) computer science or a comparable qualification and bring at least three years of experience as a software developer in relevant projects
- You program confidently in C++, C, and Python and have practical experience with frameworks such as Qt/QML, Boost, or ImGui
- You are familiar with middleware technologies such as DDS as well as version control with Git
- You also bring basic knowledge of network technology as well as good written and spoken English skills
- Topics such as data structures, algorithms, design patterns, security-oriented software development, as well as database systems (e.g., time-series or big data) particularly interest you
- Performance optimization, structured software architecture, and modern development processes inspire you
- You enjoy working in a team, take responsibility for your tasks, and move confidently in a dynamic project environment
