Your responsibilities

  • You develop and maintain mechanical concepts and CAD designs using Creo Parametric.
  • You translate customer and product requirements into practical, reliable, and cost-efficient solutions.
  • You work closely with electronics engineers, production, project managers, and suppliers throughout the entire development process.
  • You apply your knowledge of materials, production methods, and mechanical design principles to develop robust designs.
  • You support the integration of existing technologies and apply proven concepts to new applications.
  • You contribute to solving technical challenges regarding design, assembly, manufacturability, and product quality.
  • You support prototype development and testing activities.
  • You ensure that designs comply with quality standards, technical requirements, and customer expectations.
  • You have obtained a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanics, Industrial Design, or equivalent through experience.
  • You have experience with mechanical design and product development.
  • You have experience with parametric CAD software, preferably Creo Parametric 8.0 or higher.
  • You have good knowledge of production processes, machining techniques, and Design for Manufacturability (DfM).
  • Knowledge of thermal simulations (FloEFD) and structural simulations (Creo Simulate) is a strong asset.
  • Experience with Windchill or a similar PLM system is a plus.
  • You have an analytical mindset and think solution-oriented.
  • You take initiative and work proactively.
  • You can work independently and are simultaneously a strong team player.
  • You feel at home in a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment.
  • You communicate fluently in English. Knowledge of Dutch is a significant added value.
