Electronics Development Engineer Avionics

As a member of the Avionics Hardware R&D team, you contribute to the development of display and computer systems that are integrated into the cockpits of aircraft and helicopters. Electronics is a crucial element in the operation of the system, where correctness and safety have the highest priority.

For our customers in the aviation industry (Airbus, Boeing, Embraer, Comac, …), we develop and produce the next generation of cockpits with Visualization and Human Interface solutions at ScioTeq Kortrijk: Smart Displays, Video displays, Touchscreens,....

Your responsibilities:

• You are responsible for the development of mixed analog and digital electronics, including embedded electronics design.
• You are involved in all phases of development: from the definition of requirements to the delivery of the product, including concept, design, analysis, and test. Accuracy, quality, and safety are the most important objectives in your development work.

• You work intensively with other members of the project team to realize the product.
• You report to the R&D Manager Hardware.
• Master in electronics/engineering.
• Knowledge of and experience with embedded systems, electronic design.
• You stand for quality-oriented working: we follow development processes (DO- 254) which allow us to supply the aviation industry worldwide.
• You are a team player.
• You have a good command of English, knowledge of Dutch is an asset.
