Social Worker (School)
Period: Feb - Dec 2027 Salary: Up to $4000 per month Location: Toa Payoh
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 5.00pm; Friday 8.00am to12pm
- Provide supervision and manage a student support space, ensuring a safe, positive, and welcoming environment for students.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with at-risk or identified students through regular engagement and mentoring.
- Provide socio-emotional support and guidance to students facing behavioural, attendance, or adjustment challenges.
- Plan, coordinate, and facilitate student intervention programmes, including academic support, mentoring, and engagement activities.
- Monitor students' progress, identify areas of concern, and document observations for follow-up interventions.
- Work closely with school leaders, counsellors, and student development teams to support students' holistic growth and well-being.
- Gather and provide feedback on students' needs, programme effectiveness, and areas for improvement.
- Evaluate and review programme outcomes, preparing recommendations for future enhancements.
- Maintain professionalism and adhere to school policies, procedures, and student safeguarding guidelines.
- Perform other administrative and student support duties as assigned by the school.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Child Development, Youth Work, or related disciplines.
- A registered Social Worker or a registered Social Work Practitioner with the Singapore Association of Social Workers (SASW).
