Relief Teacher (Flexible, Secondary Level)

We are looking for a Relief Teacher to support Secondary School youths in academic and character education while supporting their learning, development and well-being.

Up to $42 per hour

Mon - Fri (only on assigned days, approximately 20 - 30 hours per week)

Paya Lebar / Jurong West as assigned

Jan - Nov 2027

What to expect :

• Deliver academic and character education lessons , supervise learning activities, monitor attendance and provide feedback on assignments and assessments.
• Prepare teaching resources and learning environments, set and mark examination papers, and provide relief teaching support when required.
• Monitor youths’ academic progress and support their socio-emotional and behavioural development.
• Provide administrative support, including maintaining youth records, processing learning requests, preparing examination registrations, progress reports and discharge testimonials.
• Assist with examination invigilation, supervision of specialised learning facilities, resource inventory management and other school-related duties as assigned.

Who we are looking for:

• Possesses minimum a Postgraduate Diploma in Education with 2 years of Teaching experience.
• Comfortable teaching varying class sizes (1 - 10 pax).
• Strong classroom management and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate youths.
• Patient, empathetic and adaptable, with the ability to support youths’ learning and socio-emotional needs.
