Junior Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Central (Hybrid working arrangement) Job Type: Full-Time Contract (Subjected to renewal / conversion)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack web applications, including front-end, back-end, APIs, and system integrations.
• Refactor and productionise prototypes to improve code quality, scalability, maintainability, and reliability.
• Set up and manage development, testing, and deployment environments.
• Implement and optimise CI/CD pipelines, containerisation, and deployment automation.
• Configure application logging, monitoring, observability, and alerting.
• Conduct unit, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing to ensure application quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during user testing, pilots, and production deployment.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver effective technical solutions.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline preferred.
• Hands-on experience in developing and deploying full-stack web applications.
• Proficiency in React, TypeScript, Python, or similar modern front-end and back-end technologies.
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and cloud or container-based deployment environments.
• Familiarity with automated testing, code reviews, logging, monitoring, and application observability.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.

Good to Have

• Experience developing or deploying AI-enabled applications, Large Language Models (LLMs), or agentic AI workflows.
• Exposure to rapid prototyping, application productionisation, and working directly with end users
