Facilities Management Specialist*Govt
Take ownership of a diverse portfolio of operational and tenanted properties. This is more than a routine maintenance role—you will shape how facilities are operated, improved and made more sustainable, while managing vendors, contracts, budgets and development projects.
- Monday to Friday, Office Hour
- Govt Project Opportunity
- 12 months contract, renewable
- Up to $4,100 per month
What You’ll Be Doing
- Ensure properties, facilities and supporting infrastructure operate smoothly and are maintained to a high standard
- Lead vendors, contractors and operators across maintenance, cleaning, landscaping and pest-control services
- Monitor service standards, contract performance and the timely completion of works
- Coordinate retrofitting, upgrading and infrastructure development projects
- Plan facilities budgets and work with Procurement on tenders and contract awards
- Review the operational and maintenance needs of new facilities during the planning and design stages
- Drive green initiatives involving energy efficiency, renewable energy and sustainable facilities management
- Support environmental, workplace safety and health policies
- Conduct risk assessments and identify potential facilities-related hazards
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, public agencies and external partners on property, safety and operational matters
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Facilities Management, Project Management, Engineering or a related discipline
- Able to communicate confidently and manage different stakeholders
