As a Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services Specialist (m/f/d), you ensure that goods reach their destination reliably and efficiently worldwide. You plan and organize transports, select suitable shipping methods, and coordinate processes with customers, freight forwarders, and warehouse teams. You create freight and customs documents, monitor delivery dates, and ensure that everything runs smoothly – from goods receipt to delivery. With your organizational talent and attention to detail, you keep the logistics chain running.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
- Planning and organization of transports – national and international
- Communication with customers, freight forwarders, and partners
- Creation of shipping, freight, and customs documents
- Control and monitoring of logistical processes
- Use of modern IT systems for order processing
- Insights into warehouse logistics, disposition, and quality assurance
- Application of regulations regarding safety, environment, and customs
Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services Specialist is a state-recognized vocational qualification regulated nationwide according to the Berufsbildungsgesetz (BBiG). The apprenticeship lasts three years and starts in September 2026.
HOW YOU WILL CONVINCE US
- You have a school-leaving certificate recognized in Germany, at least at Realschulniveau
- Interest in economic contexts and logistical processes
- Organizational talent and a meticulous way of working
- Team spirit, reliability, and a sense of responsibility
- Enjoyment of communication – also in English
- Motivation to learn new things and to develop yourself further
