Supplier Quality Engineer (m/f/d)

Tasks

In this role, the focus is on qualifying our suppliers and securing their processes so that our production runs smoothly at all times.

• As a VDA 6.3 Auditor, you will independently evaluate suppliers based on structured specifications and standards to create the foundation for reliable cooperation.
• Within the framework of Production Process and Product Approval (PPF), you will coordinate all necessary steps with suppliers and ensure that components are manufactured stably and according to specification.
• With your eye for technical details, you will carry out qualification measures, always with the goal of sustainably strengthening processes.
• In the event of an escalation, you will take over moderation, define improvement measures with the suppliers, and consistently ensure their implementation.
• Together with the plants, you will agree on quality goals and support suppliers in achieving them in a measurable way.
• You will coordinate special characteristics with the suppliers and monitor their compliance along the value chain.
• As part of an interdisciplinary team, you will represent the interests of quality management in strategic and operational projects.
• Additionally, you will contribute your expertise to the further development of our quality management system and actively drive standards for future vehicle generations.

Profile

• Completed technical degree (e.g., mechanical engineering, electrical engineering) as well as several years of experience in Supplier Quality Engineering
• Training as a certified VDA 6.3 quality auditor is an advantage
• Confident application of Automotive Core Tools as well as good SAP knowledge
• Technical understanding of hardware and software development processes
• Very good English skills and willingness to travel internationally
• Convincing communication, analytical eye, and efficient self-management
