On behalf of our client, an internationally leading provider of innovative automation technology in the Friedrichshafen area, we are looking for an Operational Buyer (m/f/d). The position is to be filled full-time and as a permanent placement. The salary range for the position is €47,000 - €55,000 gross per year, depending on individual experience and qualification. Tasks

• Scheduling of required materials as well as determination of the need for external components and assemblies based on defined planning and requirement data
• Continuous monitoring of stocks and delivery dates, early recognition of possible bottlenecks, and coordination of suitable measures with the manager
• Maintenance and administration of relevant parameters in the ERP system as well as application of the defined scheduling procedures
• Creation and processing of orders as well as transmission of orders to national and international suppliers
• Management of logistical control instruments, especially delivery schedules, including quantity coordination and execution of material calls
• Written and telephone communication with international suppliers as well as intra-group locations
• Management of problem part management by obtaining quotes from alternative suppliers, initiating broker inquiries, and coordinating special measures such as special transports, special releases, and capacity expansions

Requirements

• Successfully completed commercial training, for example as Industriekaufmann (m/f/d), Groß- und Außenhandelskaufmann (m/f/d), or a degree in the field of Betriebswirtschaftslehre / Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen
• Professional experience as an Operational Buyer (m/f/d), Clerk (m/f/d) in purchasing, in materials management, or a comparable activity
• Experience in the procurement of serial parts, ideally with a focus on electronic components
• Confident handling of ERP systems, SAP knowledge desirable
• Good English skills in speaking and writing for communication with international suppliers and group locations
• Very good organizational skills for the structured planning of material flows, delivery dates, and special actions
• Independent, careful, and structured way of working with a sense of responsibility for deadlines and quality
