On behalf of our client, a regional family business in the Bad Saulgau area, we are looking for a Dispatcher (m/f/d) in the field of logistics. The position is full-time and for direct permanent employment. The company is active in the freight forwarding and logistics industry and offers its customers from a wide variety of industries tailored transport and warehousing solutions. Ref. 47075
Tasks
- Independent planning, control, and dispatching of transports in local and long-distance transport - national as well as international
- Continuous monitoring of transports including deadline tracking as well as preparation of loading, tour, and delivery plans
- Telephone and written coordination with customers, freight forwarders, and cooperation partners in German and English
- Direct communication with drivers regarding pickups, delivery addresses, special features, and short-term changes
- Creation and calculation of offers as well as conducting transport tenders in logistics networks
- Issuance of national and international freight documents, documentation of transports, as well as processing of damages and complaints
Requirements
- Successfully completed commercial training, e.g., as Kaufmann (m/f/d) für Spedition und Logistikdienstleistung (m/f/d), Groß- und Außenhandelskaufmann (m/f/d), Industriekaufmann (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
- Demonstrable expertise in logistics processes and transport dispatching
- Knowledge of relevant statutory and legal requirements in the transport and freight forwarding sector
- High resilience and strong organizational talent
- Very good time management and the ability to set priorities correctly
- Proficient German and English skills in speaking and writing, other foreign languages are an advantage
