*Position Overview*

Schep?s Bakeries is seeking a hands-on, organized, and experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations across multiple facilities. This role will oversee a team of electricians, mechanics, and contractors while building strong systems, improving equipment reliability, and helping create a more structured and proactive maintenance department.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can mentor people, bring organization to the team, and ensure maintenance is planned, prioritized, and executed properly.

*Key Responsibilities*

  • Lead and manage the maintenance team across multiple facilities
  • Supervise electricians, mechanics, and outside contractors
  • Build structure, accountability, and clear maintenance processes
  • Implement and manage preventative maintenance programs
  • Improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime
  • Organize work orders, scheduling, spare parts, and follow-up systems
  • Coordinate repairs, shutdowns, and maintenance priorities across sites
  • Mentor and develop the maintenance team
  • Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and support compliance requirements

*Qualifications*

  • Maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing, food production, or industrial operations
  • Experience managing teams that include electrical and mechanical trades
  • Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance systems and department organization
  • Hands-on technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and facility systems
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to bring structure, discipline, and follow-through to a growing operation
