electrician

SCE Electric Western Canada is currently hiring Electricians in Saskatoon. We have a construction project consisting of three buildings that will be connected to each other. Each building has 10 floors and will sit on a common parkade space. This project is for student housing for the University. Applicants are required to have commercial construction experience. Applicants who do not have electrical experience in commercial construction will not be considered.

All buildings will be constructed with precast concrete walls and hollow core. BX and EMT conduit will make up the majority of all rough-ins. Each suite is its own self contained unit with a panel, bedrooms, washroom, and kitchen area. Common laundry facilities will be on site for resident use. Multiple positions will be available for local candidates. Positions to be filled include apprentices, journeymen, and site foreman.

Applicants are required to be comfortable and experienced in a fast paced construction environment. Excavation will begin early October 2026, and completion of the project is expected to be September, 2028. Attention to detail and the ability to plan ahead are a must. PPE is mandatory at all times, and applicants are expected to have their own hand tools. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day. Reliable transportation and punctuality are also necessary.
