Finance and Accounts Officer
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions. Record income, expenses, receipts, payments and other transactions. Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash movements. Assist in preparation for monthly management accounts. Track receivables, payables and other financial obligations. Support budgeting and cash flow monitoring. Prepare financial reports and schedules for management. Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions. Assist with tax audits and regulatory requirements. Monitor expenses and identify discrepancies or unusual transactions. Support financial analysis and support reporting as required.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline. Age: 24 years and above. 1-7 Years Experience in accounting, banking, financial services or a related environment is an advantage. Strong knowledge of accounting principles. Good Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software. Strong numerical and analytical ability. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Good understanding of reconciliations and financial reporting. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information. Professional certifications such as ICAN, CFA, ACI FMA, FRA, ACCA or ACA is an advantage but not mandatory.
