Daily tasks

• providing services as part of a project regarding the implementation of a Knowledge Catalog platform supporting Data Governance processes in the organization,
• designing and developing the technical architecture of a solution enabling the management of metadata, business glossary, data classifications, data lineage, and Data Products,
• implementing and configuring functionalities supporting data cataloging and information management,
• designing and developing integrations enabling automatic metadata acquisition from source systems, analytical platforms, and reporting tools,
• preparing and developing automation mechanisms, scripts, and API interfaces,
• collaborating with business owners, Data Governance experts, architects, business analysts, and teams responsible for the development and maintenance of source systems,
• performing Proof of Concept and technical implementations related to metadata import and data lineage,
• configuring integrations with IAM mechanisms and managing roles and permissions,
• developing technical standards, implementation patterns, and technical documentation of the solution,
• project location: Warszawa Centrum,
• service delivery mode: hybrid, including presence in the Warsaw office 2 days a week,
• project budget: up to 155 PLN/h + VAT, depending on experience and the scope of services provided.

Requirements

Competencies required to perform the services:

minimum 5 years of experience in designing and developing IT solutions,

experience in designing the architecture of systems integrating data, metadata, and information management processes,

practical knowledge of Data Governance, Data Catalog, Metadata Management, or related areas,

experience in designing and implementing integrations using API,

knowledge of issues related to data lineage, data cataloging, and metadata modeling,

experience in creating scripts for automating data acquisition and processing,

knowledge of issues related to IAM, roles, and permission models,

experience in collaborating with business and technical stakeholders,

ability to analyze complex technical issues and propose optimal architectural solutions,

experience in preparing technical documentation,

knowledge of English at a level enabling work with technical documentation and project stakeholders.

Nice to have:

experience in implementing Data Catalog or Knowledge Catalog platforms,

knowledge of tools supporting Data Governance,

experience in projects from the banking, finance, or large corporate organization sectors,

knowledge of Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud solutions.
