Senior Software Engineer (Kotlin/Java)

Daily tasks

• development of backend services in Java and/or Kotlin using Spring Boot,
• designing and developing REST API and event-driven integrations,
• working with AWS services, including RDS, S3, and an internal data platform,
• creating and maintaining infrastructure using Terraform,
• working with relational databases and SQL,
• independent implementation of functionalities from implementation and testing to production deployment,
• creating clean, testable, and maintainable code,
• participating in code review, production problem analysis, and technical discussions,
• collaborating with the development team, Product Managers, and other stakeholders,
• performing services in a 100% remote mode,
• long-term cooperation in a B2B model,
• a rate up to 150 PLN/h + VAT

Requirements

Competencies required to perform the services:

commercial experience in backend programming using Java and/or Kotlin (min. 5 years),

very good knowledge of Spring Boot,

practical experience with AWS,

knowledge of REST API and event-driven integrations,

experience working with microservices architecture,

good knowledge of SQL and relational databases,

practical knowledge of Terraform,

experience with Docker, Git, and modern DevOps practices,

knowledge of messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ,

experience in automated testing, debugging, and solving production problems,

independence in performing well-defined tasks and the ability to quickly get up to speed with an existing system,

in the absence of commercial experience with Kotlin – readiness to quickly start working with this language,

English language at a minimum B2 level.
