Daily tasks

• independent planning and execution of application tests in the banking domain,
• analysis of requirements and system functionality for the purpose of preparing test scenarios and cases,
• identifying potential risk areas and proposing appropriate ways to verify them,
• testing application functionality and verifying their compliance with business and technical requirements,
• analyzing system operation and dependencies between its individual components,
• verifying data stored in the database using SQL and the pgAdmin tool,
• preparing and verifying system configurations,
• creating and modifying report, letter, and form templates based on HTML, Java, and Thymeleaf,
• testing the correctness of generated documents and forms,
• analyzing errors and supporting the process of their diagnosis,
• collaborating with the development team and other people involved in the system's development,
• reporting and documenting found defects and monitoring their handling,
• ensuring the quality and completeness of the testing process,
• participating in developing and improving processes related to software quality,
• collaborating in a 100% remote model,
• a rate of up to 120 PLN/h under B2B cooperation.

Requirements

Competencies required to perform the services:

• experience as a Software Tester / QA / Software Tester,
• practical experience in testing web applications or business systems,
• the ability to independently design test cases and scenarios and plan the scope and course of tests without the need for detailed instructions,
• the ability to independently identify potential scenarios and risk areas,
• good knowledge of the software testing process and various types of tests,
• the ability to analyze system operation and understand the dependencies between its elements,
• basic knowledge of SQL and experience working with databases,
• practical knowledge of the pgAdmin tool or a similar tool for working with a PostgreSQL database,
• basic knowledge of HTML and the ability to read and understand HTML templates,
• knowledge of Java and Thymeleaf or experience working with similar templating technologies is welcome,
• readiness to work also in the area of system configuration, and not exclusively performing tests,
• the ability to think analytically and draw conclusions based on observed system behavior,
• independence, inquisitiveness, and initiative in searching for potential problems.
