QA Automation Engineer (Java/TypeScript)

Daily tasks

• preparing automated test scripts based on project documentation and information provided by teams,
• analysis and preparation of test data according to developed scenarios,
• running automated tests and reporting results according to established procedures,
• analysis of test reports, identification of irregularities, and reporting bugs,
• development and maintenance of existing test automation scripts and CI/CD process configurations,
• configuration of automated test runtime environments,
• implementation and development of methods, methodologies, and tools supporting testing processes,
• creating and updating automated test documentation in an electronic knowledge base,
• cooperation with project teams regarding software quality assurance,
• service delivery model: 100% remote,
• project budget: up to 110 PLN/h + VAT, depending on experience and the scope of services provided.

Requirements

Competencies required to perform the services:

minimum 4 years of experience in software test automation,

higher education, preferably in a technical field,

knowledge of software testing principles, techniques, and best practices, test types, and testing tools,

very good knowledge of Java and TypeScript programming languages,

very good knowledge of test automation tools: Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, REST Assured, Allure Report, Jenkins, Maven, and Playwright,

very good knowledge of version control systems, e.g., Git, Bitbucket, or GitLab,

very good knowledge of SQL,

good knowledge of tools supporting the testing process: Jira, Confluence, SQL Developer, SoapUI / Postman, and Excel,

knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies,

knowledge of the English language enabling free use of technical documentation and communication in a project environment,

ability for analytical thinking, independent organization of activities, and accuracy in service delivery,

communicativeness, proactivity, and openness to the development of test automation tools and methods.

Nice to have:

knowledge of AWS, Datadog, or Appium,

ISTQB certificate.
