Daily tasks

• performing services related to the design and development of backend microservices and API using the Golang language,
• development of solutions based on event-driven architecture and asynchronous communication,
• integration of services with IoT devices using the MQTT protocol and implementation of Edge Computing scenarios,
• designing and developing efficient, scalable, and highly available services using REST, gRPC, and OpenAPI,
• implementation and optimization of solutions using relational and time-series databases,
• implementing observability, monitoring, and application diagnostics mechanisms,
• integration of services with CI/CD processes and co-creating software quality standards,
• cooperation with the project team, architects, and DevOps, QA, Frontend, and Flutter specialists in the implementation of modern solutions in the Healthcare and IoT areas,
• project location: Wrocław,
• service delivery model: remote,
• project budget: up to 150 PLN/h + VAT, depending on experience and the scope of services provided.

Requirements

Competencies required to perform the services:

minimum 5 years of experience in implementing projects using the Go language,

very good knowledge of the Go concurrency model (goroutines, channels, context),

experience in designing and developing production backend services and API,

practical knowledge of REST, gRPC, and OpenAPI,

experience with event-driven architecture and event streaming and queuing platforms (e.g., Kafka),

knowledge of the MQTT protocol and integration with IoT devices,

experience in designing highly available and scalable backend systems,

practical knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, pgx, sqlc) and Time Series databases (e.g., TimescaleDB, InfluxDB),

experience with Docker and Kubernetes,

knowledge of observability tools (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and structured logging),

experience in testing Go applications (testing, testify, integration tests),

knowledge of application security, authentication, and authorization issues (OAuth2, OIDC; knowledge of Keycloak is welcome),

practical knowledge of Git and CI/CD processes,

experience in cooperating with distributed project teams,

knowledge of the English language at C1 level.

Nice to have

experience in projects in the Healthcare, MedTech, or other regulated environments,

knowledge of Go frameworks (Gin, Echo, Chi, Fiber),

knowledge of HL7 and FHIR standards,

experience with cloud-native tools (client-go, Kubebuilder, Operator SDK),

experience with Docker Swarm and Ansible,

knowledge of Jenkins,

experience with APISIX (API Gateway),

knowledge of Dev Containers and Visual Studio Code,

experience with the code-generation-first approach (e.g., ogen),

knowledge of golangci-lint, Viper, and Cobra tools,

experience with Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, and Tempo,

knowledge of React/Next.js or Flutter technologies,

practical knowledge of AI tools supporting the software development process.
